Bold and strong?

What if I could say whatever I think in my mind? It will be a disaster! Even though a lot of people are trying to implement a doubted fact that we have no limitations, I believe that there are some sort of shaping, which is to be done, to show our opinion. People might call it 'sarcasm' or 'idiotic' or 'ill-mannered', if I am too frank. I believe that it would be bold to say what I like to say and I always liked to do it when it concern to people who are real close to me. It looks like I have to go through a lot of possible thoughts of others to do each and everything in my life. I've gone through some situations where I have to argue a lot. Sometimes, me and the one, who is opposite to me, have got the perfect idea of what was right in there and we both will argue just to make a show. Being bold is not to criticize everything you see, but to express what you meant even if it is to accept that you are wrong. It is not a miracle that I am wrong, because I know that I have been wrong before and it can happen to anyone. No one is always right! Yeah, I wouldn't say that I am bold enough to be called 'bold'!

Sometimes, shaping our opinions could be a mistake. A bold or strong opinion may save others. It doesn't have to be  harsh, but I would like to appreciate some honest opinions. If someone is calling me 'stupid', I have an option whether to accept it or not. Do I need to feel bad about the person who did it? What if I am really stupid? That is a subject to debate, but there is nothing wrong in expressing anything against me. It just helps me to rethink. An honest opinion is not a crime. If someone is praising me just because they didn't want to hurt my feelings, it can affect me in the future. Being strong is somehow a mentality to withstand hard times. If someone is true in criticizing me, I am sure that I would appreciate it. I wish if I could stop acting to get something done.

I still do not know how many times I was considered a coward when I say 'no' to things. Many people doesn't even care to think about the possibility that I do not like/want to do it. Yeah, there are a lot of things to which I undoubtedly say no! I know that they might change me a bit from the path of what I am supposed to be. I was never good in it. I mean, when I had to be strong, I used to stay silent and smile. I know, a cold 'no' would break what they think about me. It may look harsh, but it would do some good for me for sure because, if that is what I am, why would I resist showing it? One way or another, I am going to break their beliefs for sure.

Sincerely,

Raghu

satyamev jayate!!

Aamir is an amazing man! I think, I missed the word 'actor' in the last sentence. Obviously, that was for a reason. He could have lived his life without thinking about creating a TV program named 'satyamev jayate'! But, he did. More than that, he didn't just restrict his act by thinking. I am not in the right position to judge his activities, but I see 'greatness' in him. Not a lot of people at his position, would do something he did. I would like to address him as a very 'determined responsible human being'! I'm inspired by what he has done as a social commitment to the country. There might be people who had sacrificed more than he did, there might be people who is still working much harder than what he is doing, but the kind of influence he can make in areas like this will be tremendous.

I think, there is a reason for such a big praise from my side. Let me expose some personal secrets. I was almost thinking the same thing he is doing right now. 'Make the people see the world!'. It looks like he is doing what I have imagined in my life. When I am at a very high level of ego,self-respect and pride, I used to imagine of things I could have done. That thoughts had a lot of 'what ifs'!( What if I could hire an auditorium and invite people to hear my speech, in which I could explode my thoughts on life, ethics,self-righteousness  and selflessness. ) What Aamir is doing is much more effective( Yeah, no one can survive my ego and pride, as what others call!!). As a citizen of this country, I was disappointed by the way many people and things move around here. I was disappointed by many things I have seen and more than that, I have seen people who are desperately trying hard to hide from those realities. I wouldn't say that being a selfish man is a crime or a little unethical behavior is going to be a crime, but does it really hurt me if I choose to do things which might not come under my responsibilities, but still  I choose to be responsible(obviously, if I could).

I am not always right and when I watched the first episode of 'satyamev jayate' TV show, I was stunned by hearing the stories of female foeticide in India. I couldn't think of how immature and selfish those people are. I do not think that they can just remove those people from our country, our only choice is to educate them on 'how to love and feel'. I feel pity about them and it must change by any cost. They do not need punishment, they need help. Help to save themselves from their own blind eyes. I honestly, believe that a lot of areas requires this kind of help to get motivated. May be, this program can bring some differences.

I know, there are people who would say that 'we should adapt to our situations'. But, I believe that we are the cause of these situations and sometimes, getting adapted is more like avoiding responsibilities. We have our choice and I believe that Aamir has chosen his. I do not know whether this initiative is going to be a grand success, but I honestly wish if it could. I seriously doubt whether this video will receive as much views as the "kolaveri" song had received. This is not entertainment, an entertainer doing some serious stuff. Life is not always about entertainment, accept it! support it!

Sincerely,

Raghu

The Human Complexity

There are two ways to live our lives. One is to think that everything is an accident and the other is to believe that everything we see and face are the results of the actions of your own or the people influencing or surrounding you. There are at least two ways to see every aspect of life and it is to be optimistic or to be pessimistic. But, when we analyze the things in a very ordered manner with some facts over the unwillingness to understand them, everything seems simple. I'm a person who believes that a very opposite, still sensible thing for every subject I've written in this blog, can be written by myself. So, it may not surprise me if someone could convince me that we are so complex and different. I analyze things with my knowledge and just as I said before, things I do not know always outsmart me! There are a lot of perspective in which the complexity can be defined. For example, the way we live our life, our entire body, our emotion etc. The examples I have taken can be considered as the attributes which makes each of us different.

I accept that everything is complex. I mean, the nature, the life, the computer , simply everything! But, is there something which makes us more complex than the usual things on earth? I have a belief that we are not. People may have different talents, behaviors and level of emotions, but I believe that they are different because of our brain activity. Is it too hard to assume that people's thoughts, talents and interests are different because of the number of neurons present in each and every brain? It is not really a disputable fact that our specialty in this world is our brain. We are not strong as a bull or fast as a cheetah, but we are able to build tools which are stronger than bull and faster than cheetah. It doesn't mean that we are much complex than a cheetah or bull, the area where the complexity is measured is different. And our emotions can be some artistic works of our brain. I do accept that brain is complex.

It feels like I can write about every areas where the word complexity can be used. It is kind of acceptable that we are a little complex when it comes to our motives and thoughts. I mean, I used wonder why people can't think like me and I thought I was undeniable, but I am not. Not even close!! I believe that there are some complex things which are happening because of that change in combinations of  neurons of every brain. Can you call it complex by keeping in mind that our only complexity is our brain? I can't. But, we simply have some common behaviors!

Sincerely

Raghu

Can you demotivate me?

A small story of a demotivated kid!! When I was small and immature, I had an experience. It was a time when I was doing 7th grade or something. Me, my dad and some others were in a discussion about some random subject and at some point, we were discussing about the area/diameter of a circle and an old man asked me something like this "Have you learned about circle in your school?". With all due respect, I said something like this "Of course not, but I know the formula of the area of a circle". He began to criticize me, as if it is my mistake that the area of a circle is not included in the syllabus of a 7th grade student! He 'demotivated' me with some harsh and provoking dialogues and at a point he asked me a question, "Are you getting angry at me?". I should have acted weird and survived with a smile. It is a fact that it had affected me a little, as I still remember that incident even after 10 years.  Today, I'm 'big' and mature(ahem!!) and I have a different policy (it can be wrongly interpreted as a survival policy). As far as you believe that 'you can't be nothing', no one can demotivate you for any reason.

Actually, is there something called 'motivation', 'demotivation', 'negative' or 'positive'? Everything comes under the category of 'facts'. I am a pathetic singer and I have no problem in admitting it (preferably by not singing. Why should I risk your comfort?). There are a lot of things in which I am not confident about, admitting them seems to be a good idea rather than giving others unrealistic expectations. Now-a-days, I can see things like this in our media. Let me take an old example( I should have used this example before. Pardon me for not being updated to media), when Indian cricket team was going to Australia for tournaments, the Australian team captain will probably come up with a fight with words through the media. The Indian captain responds, coach responds, or may be even the sweeper in an Indian cricket ground may respond which will eventually help some journalists to have their food. But, why would he(Indian captain) respond to such issues? Even if there were no record of an above average performance in Australia, the Indian captain would respond like "We will thrash Australia" and probably they would get thrashed by Australians, which will be food for the entire media for months! I know, I am a little pessimistic, but pessimists seem to be truthful. If you are confident of your abilities, be a pessimist. Indian captain should have shut his mouth and gave some surprises to Indian cricket fans when they get back. With no expectations, a small victory can make a lot of effects.

If we watch closely, you could see people who would demotivate you with your surroundings. There was a friend who used to make comments on almost everybody, who have a different native place than his place. The comments will be about your area or their behavior or their culture etc. "Oh! Are you from 'abc'? People of that native won't behave good in public". He deserved a lot of punches on his nose! Why can't you just ignore him? If it was me, I know that I always have a choice to be different from my surroundings and I always have the choice to behave good in public even if I am coming from a place where people who couldn't behave good in public. I definitely do not have the responsibility of my native place's behavioral habits. The point is, they are just playing with your confidence and if you fall for it, you have just lost one good opportunity. The confidence plays a major role in what you are. Sometimes, 'demotivators' are some people who are desperately trying to outsmart you with the knowledge or skill they have. You will have your unique knowledge and skills too.For every single human in this world, the skill and knowledge he do not have outsmart the skills and knowledge he have. So, there is no point in getting demotivated by those desperate people, no one can outsmart you in being you!

NB: You can follow me if you are ready to fall on a rock on your pointed nose, just because you ignored a very valuable, logical and intelligent 'demotivation'!

Sincerely,

Raghu

The god delusion of Richard Dawkins

Recently, I happened to watch a documentary film named "The root of all evil?(The god delusion)" by Richard Dawkins which provoked me to do some criticism on his views of God. I consider myself agnostic because of a fact that I couldn't completely agree with idea of evolution. It is hard to believe that everything we see around are created from some random events. I partially agree with Richard Dawkins for the fact that the today's concept of religion is somehow an evil. Richard Dawkins is actually talking a lot about what a religion has done to our society, but I looked into what a religion could have done to our society. I'm still not sure whether he has thought about what could have happened if there were no religions in this world. Let me take an example from your documentary itself. The example of the kid who accept what he is taught without logical reasoning. Even if we say that we are matured and smart enough to make logical decisions, there is an incompleteness in our knowledge and wisdom. You, me and most of our people might be generous enough to accept the truth that we are somehow ignorant and sometimes, we make illogical decisions. Compared to the ultimate knowledge, we are still ignorant like a child. Religion was trying to make some sense over the chaos of the world, by controlling the children(us). As these controls are implemented by humans, it might tend to have some human philosophies and views(issue of homosexuality can be taken as an example).

In this world, people are different. They have different IQ, attitude, behavior and dreams, but every one of us are supposed to be fair to the one another. We are supposed to have some rules to follow, some order to maintain. The ultimate aim of religions must be something like this. Richard Dawkins were trying too hard to find evidence from religious books. I guarantee you that you won't find any, because there is a possibility that there are much higher intentions for religions in this world. Actually, I want to ask a very simple question. Who are you afraid of the most? If I could live a life with my selfishness and ego, I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be caring anyone else in this world for sure. Religion was just a tool to bring a belief that we are not beyond everything. In my life, I wouldn't do a lot of things because of my belief of self-righteousness. I have faced some criticisms from my surroundings, but I believe that I've almost survived them and not everyone in this world can be like me. There is a huge possibility that my belief of 'self-righteousness' is simply a stupid idea. I might be hurting a lot of people which can't be a good thing. Sometimes, it is easier to hide truth than to explain the complex philosophies and teach what is fair and what is not fair. I support Richard Dawkins, but I couldn't unless all the people in this world start to act fair and logical.. That is why we need to trust in faith.

I'm a hindu by birth. I know hinduism better than any other religion. I haven't purposefully learned any books regarding Hinduism, but I had to hear them as my family is strictly religious. I do not oppose them, but I wish if they were extracting the essence rather than the story. I used to think about the origin of the religion. If I was born in a prehistoric period where there is no concept of god, there is a possibility that I could purposefully introduce the concept of god for a good purpose, which is not true though. I can live with that lie and my followers might forget the reality and slip into a made up story. But, my intention was good and genuine, which is not a bad thing so does the religions of our world. In my land, there were untouchability and many other rituals and beliefs. But, even the man who has learned this thing would accept the fact that those beliefs were implemented by the rulers of the countries.People are blind when it comes to god, so it is very simple to implement such rules. The beliefs and ideas have changed lately and at the present condition, I wouldn't say that they are healthy. The interesting thing is that those books in Hinduism would certainly outsmart my ideas of a religion. I mean, if I had to make up a story of my own to make a belief in people, I would never think of a god, who would loose his temper and do some unfair violence. There is a character called 'karna', who has lived a perfect life but had to suffer hard in his life. These are more like some puzzles. I might see people with the qualities of 'karna' and 'krishna' in my life and I believe that those writings were an almost failed attempt to implement a very vast, complex idea. Quite recently, I happened to see a report of a man,who is the best in teaching hinduism, has told that none of the events were happened in real. People are criticizing him and I believe that he is right!

Let me consider my own experience in my life. For the entire time, I tried to convince myself that I'm atheist, but at a moment, I was quite surprised to see an astrologer's note(printed material). I saw 3 facts of my life, which I thought no one other than me could know. I couldn't write it off as a coincidence for any reason. Sometimes, I feel like the logic of 'God' is not known to any human in this world and in some other time, I believe that there could be a scientific base for it. Till that time, I am going to stay agnostic. I am confused for sure. Richard Dawkins said that there were no evidence of god, but our inability to prove the existence of something doesn't mean that it is not there. It is possible that I would change my views about god in my future, but it is less probable that I would completely deny god's existence.

May be Richard Dawkins was right, but I'm still a man who believe that 'No one at his sane mind would think of being an atheist'. I saw the frustration when he is debating to people who accepts god. I admire the way you handled a muslim who consider women different from men(about wearing clothes). But, do you really think that they would change their mind and introduce equality just by your words? What we call 'wrong' is not 'wrong' in everywhere in this world.  I admire the idea that everybody have the right to choose his own religion, which I have said to some people in my life. You are never wrong, but sometimes, it is not all about what is wrong or what is right. It is rather a conflict between your 'right' and my 'right'.

I know, I am not a professional in this subject but it doesn't mean that I couldn't think about it. May be, you can find better justifications regarding this subject from others.

Sincerely,

Raghu

Getting uncivilized and saving earth

I've already talked about the idea of getting uncivilized and saving earth here. I'm a little concerned about the subject as I'm a bit more enthusiastic and disappointed about the destruction of the mother earth. Honestly, I didn't do a research to see what is happening on our earth but, I have watched some documentaries which made me believe that I have no other choice other than believing it. Humans are the most intellectual creatures on this earth for sure, but my analysis (supposed to be unbiased) on the human intellect is not on how smart we are but it is on how effective we are. We have computers, technology, space explorations etc in our list of achievements, but deep down in our achievements and exploration there is a story of disappointment( at least for some people). We are destroying the planet! A lot of essential things we use, a lot of essential technologies we implemented, there are some incurable disasters hidden inside. I have a belief that there is nothing to negotiate about these facts, these are real facts.

Nothing is really special about us, except the brain. We are good at inventing tools and machinery, but do we outsmart everything we see on this earth. This earth is a beautiful thing and it does have a perfectly balanced algorithm to allow things to stay how they are. This is the real reason why I believe that there is no valid reason to be an atheist. A computer is really complex, it is hard to believe that what I am seeing right now is just a unique combination of 0s and 1s, which obviously makes an illusion that we are looking at actual facts and figures. But, deep down inside, they are just 0s and 1s and the combination of those 0s and 1s is the existence of a computer. When I looked at myself, I see a much complex algorithm. I'm just a combination of molecules. Just as we see a computer as 0s and 1s, we could look at ourselves as molecules. Not everything in our human body is explained or proved. The defense mechanism, reproduction, brain, energy utilization etc are truly a miracle. If we are still proud of what we did, just realize how smart our nature is.

Consider a movie, with all the things that have happened on earth of length 24hours( its a lengthy movie, I am bad at maths and I couldn't find anything better than this). Human race evolved at the last 4 seconds of the 24 hours. Which means for the majority of the earth's age, earth survived without humans. But, in the last 4 seconds we have a list of achievements. No!! Consider the last second (which means 50000 years. I'm bad with fractions too. I would like to take the example with 200 years), in the last second, we made tremendous changes on the face of the earth. We made a lot of animals to disappear and increased our participation to our maximum. We covered land with chemicals and plastics. We destroyed the ecology by provoking global warming. Actually, it is not really hard to see the after effects of what we are seeing right now. It is an indisputable fact that our average temperature is rising year by year in a dramatic way. But, still we are running behind luxuries. People advice to save energy and save life. We are not doing it. Even if we do, I do not believe that we are going to make a dramatic change without reducing the population(Usage of energy is more dependent on population rather than the level of usage of each person on the planet). We are blaming our government for not providing energy(sometimes, clean energy) and there will be a time when we could not blame our government for not providing enough facilities. We are running behind solutions, but I doubt whether they are actually solutions or just an attempt to reduce the effect of a disaster.

When we were at our stone age, we had nothing to be proud of but we could live a life without affecting the other creatures on this earth. I am not saying that we wouldn't survive, but I am thinking about a 'fair survival'. Some economists says that the earth is still healthy and safe and I believe that there is no reason to believe it. Some others says that economy is fragile and I believe that the entire economy is built on a much fragile environment (Can you build a building without a ground?).We hear what we want to hear and we can find reasons to neglect if that is what we like to do with our lives. Any one can break an argument and that is what we are seeing right now. I have watched some documentaries regarding the subjects and I am truly inspired by a video "The yes men, we fix the world"(It is quite interesting also, if you are not a passionate economist). I do not believe that we own anything in this world, it is better to think that we rented some place to live in though we are not paying any rent. It is better to avoid destroying the rented place. The time has come to outsmart ourselves.

Sincerely,

Raghu

Choice and compulsions

I'm a true believer that I have some control over my life. Not everything is unique in my life, but to an extend I do not follow or support some ideologies that a lot of people believe in. I'm not a guy who would like to peek into someone's life to do what I do (may be, not always). Some people address me as a self-disciplined, but I consider myself as a man of attitude. Sometimes, people would evaluate you with your face and will come to an assumption that you are disappointed and unhappy. They are not always right about my case as I believe that I am a person who is already living a life at its 'almost perfect satisfactory' level. In life, there are a lot of things which are to be done because of 'compulsions' and for some others, I always had a 'choice'. If I am capable enough to make a choice, I would always choose 'choice' in my life.

I could be an open book in my life. I wouldn't do much things that couldn't be exposed in public and it is the major source of a factual thought that I'm literally doing 'nothing' in my life. I believe that I am not easily 'provokable' as I used to defend most of my friend's  unacceptable suggestions with a simple smile(things have changed a bit though). I believe that I haven't advised much people to be like me, except here in the blogosphere(I'm not pretty sure about it, but if it had happened that couldn't be my mistake. Why can't you notice an 'x' button on your browser?) . I can't understand why some people are still provoking me to give them false hope by wasting their time. I am ready to face the consequences of what I did in my life and normally, I wouldn't try to escape from those consequences.

If I am about to do something, I used to be cautious about some parameters. The first and the important thing is to ask myself whether I should do it or not (Nothing spontaneous, but there are some exceptional cases). I do not know how I regretted for an accidental insult on a very strange woman which was happened a long time ago and I still remember a lot of such incidents that may not be a notable incident in the memories or thoughts of the victims. I do not do everything I like to do in my life, but it will be appreciable if  people can stop blaming my 'fear' for not doing the thing I never intended to do. I'm not completely dependent on compulsions in my life. It is a fact that I haven't done everything I intended to do, but there are things that I've left undone and it is more likely because of my choice.

NB: I hope I haven't used the word 'you' in this post as this is all about 'me'. Anyway, if you have some suggestions feel free to comment. I'm always happy to 'simply smile'.:)

Sincerely

Raghu

Dear lonely fellows...

I talk a lot to some people. This might be a little surprising fact for some of my acquaintances who are supposed to be my friends. Sometimes, I just explode a head on completely unknown people without any intentions. A few months before, I met a guy in a train and he just started talking about his life and his experiences and all of a sudden, I began to talk and I am almost sure that he should have cursed the time when he decided to talk with me. I was thinking about a lot during that journey and I still got no idea of why I talked to that guy. But, it is more like an explosion of my thoughts that I never planned to express to anyone. I was alone and thoughtful and he was just a victim!! I always used to pretend like I never cared of being alone in my life. I used to have a mobile/laptop to make others believe that I'm involved in something, but is a fact that I'm not always entertained by a mobile or laptop in my life. I'm always thoughtful when I am alone and I'm never bored at any times of my life. It is kind of weird, I know!!!

A few months before, I happened to hear an astonishing fact about family relationship status of our country. In the past, there were joint families where a lot of members lived together as a family. When it became intolerable, people began to live nuclear families. Now-a-days, old age homes can be seen in every corner of the country. Some are paid and some others can accept the 'unacceptables'. Which is a clear evidence of tearing up of nuclear families. The only reason for the current count of married couple in this country is inadequate judicial facilities. If getting a divorce is easy, there will be a lot of people who would like to get a divorce. Sometimes, it is just a fact that every single human is alone in his own world. But, his thoughts and his world is really important in his life. Check out this video.

This video is a thought provoker in my life. In my future, it is possible that I would think of a movie like this and I believe that everybody is already imagining their life in a similar manner. The word "I" is not always greedy. Sometimes, it shows self-confidence and in some other times, it shows unacceptability of one's ideas in other's life. I'm a little heroic in my life though it may not inspire anyone other than me.

Recently, I happened watch an interview of Sri. Kamal Haasan(In my view, calling him an 'actor' is an understatement to what he really is) in which he said something like this "At the age of 21, I thought I am a lonely genius and decided to kill myself". See? He was lonely too and quite recently I happened to read an essay of Albert Einstein in which he addressed himself as a 'lone traveller'. These two are quite inspiring examples for sure. I know, I am not the only one who is suffering from an irrelevant "No one cares me!" kind of thought and this could motivate people like me  for sure. Loneliness is just a fact and it is better if we could accept and stop thinking about it.

No one can accept you better than yourself because no one knows you better than yourself.

Sincerely,

Raghu

Is it too good to be not human?

Sometimes, humans believe that they outsmart everything in this world. Recently, I searched in the web for a word 'humane' and found something like this:

hu·mane  (hy-mn)
adj.
1. Characterized by kindness, mercy, or compassion: a humane judge.
2. Marked by an emphasis on humanistic values and concerns: a humane education.

I believe that the word has came from the much more sophisticated definition of 'being human'!! It definitely shows that the words kindness, mercy, compassion, etc are supposed to be there in a human. In every situations of life, we analyze and find a solution for our problems in life. What would happen we were able to think of a non-human humane thought? What if I were an alien from outer-space? I do not support the concept that we outsmart every living thing in this world. We are just an animal with a better brain. We could have found some fairer conclusions if we could think like a non human. If I(the alien) come here for a visit, what would I see? "A very large number of animals in a specific species(human) is destroying the entire planet".

This can be seen in many other aspects as well. We come to our conclusion or decisions by our human brain and I would like to remind you that there are some other horizons which are to be taken to our considerations before we take our decisions. A day might come when we realize that everything we were so proud of were not as good as it seems. A day might come when we realize that the earth and all the living things were so safe when we were not here. Even though we believe that we were fair to everything in this world, our civilization might have changed the entire concept of being fair (Using detergents can cause pollution, will you stop washing your clothes because of that reason?). We are just too addicted to our weaknesses. Making our lives easier is just one example of our tendency to get lazy. We might say that technology has changed the speed of our lives but, have you ever thought of a condition in which you ask yourself a simple question 'Why did I change the speed of my life?'. It is an unanswerable question for me. If there is an answer, I do not believe that the answer will worth enough for what we have done. We changed the course of the earth by doing inhumane methods, but the word 'humane' means kindness, mercy etc!!

Sincerely,

Raghu

Public Performances

This is not the first time I'm choosing a title like this in this blog. To be frank, this was the first topic that I've ever written in a blogging platform in my life. I deleted that post as I couldn't tolerate the standard of what I was doing at that time. I've been thinking about rewriting it as I can do better than what I did last time. But, I'm beginning to realize that I am good at something. I'm good at imagining and advising. My imaginations are a million times better than me. I am not claiming that I'm good at this subject, but it doesn't mean that I do not have any idea about the subject. Four or five years back, I happened to attend a personality development class and my previous attempt was to magnify the exact thing I saw there and write them in this blog. I couldn't say that it was a success, but it may turn out to be a turning point in my life.

Last time, I was a bit confident about what I was going to say. Today, I do not support the facts that I've written in my past. I've been changing a lot and whenever I see that post, I see an 'immature me' in it. None of these are relevant here and I am trying to be honest. I think, I deserve to be famous for my nervousness of my life. I'm not here with a success story of anything, but some attempts which could have been a worth noticeable ones. My philosophy is simple, if you really want to learn or achieve something, you need to know what the losers have to say about what they have tried. I'm entitled with a bit of bitter experiences with public performances. But, it has given me some thought on how it could be corrected. I'm not the one who is writing this post. For a moment, consider me as a different person or I'm just thinking of what I should have thought if I were a successful performer in public.

I'm a criticizer in my nature even though I never used to criticize in public, I used have my own personal debates. Everybody is confident when they know what they are doing. So, knowledge is more important than confidence. I would never go for a lecture about "Indian classical dance" as I do not know anything about it and most importantly, we need to know our audience well. I think, unknown audience is the main cause of sleep in class hours. If I am not able to attract attention of my audience, it is my mistake and unless you are sure that there are no 'rotten eggs' in nearby shops and all the footwears in the audience's legs are of highly expensive type, it is better not to give any chance to luck because rotten eggs and foot wears can hurt you and your confidence. But, I was provided with a lot of opportunities in which there is no probability of receiving an egg or chappal on my head and I still didn't do anything. So, it is very simple to avoid such a problem, you have to stop being me.

By the way I write this post, you should have realized that English is not my mother tongue. But, do you know how many times, I have recited the exact dialogues of some Client Eastwood movies (from Kung Fu Panda & dark knight too) in my bathroom? I'm not perfect, but I believe that it can work out some day.  I believe that I can handle some sort of 'understandable english' by now. Sometimes, we might need to communicate well in a different language and it is definitely a challenge. I'm better when I write rather than I talk in English. I can take all my time to frame or reframe the sentences. Talking is really fast and I might not be able to catch up with my thoughts. A lot of translation process is going on behind everything I write here and I already know that it is not the way it should be done. I have to think in English to make sure that I can talk in English. I believe that I've achieved something by trying it out. I can't really translate what I write here into my mother tongue in a fair manner. I would be very happy if you say that I really lost both language skills!!!

In my previous post, I have written something about the posture and actions you must maintain when you talk in front of some people. That is completely wrong. I feel that those rules or shortcuts to success are implemented by someone who really learn how 'successful public performers' are performing it. There is a good possibility that you will turn out to be a mimicry artist rather than being a true performer. I do stupid stuffs when I am nervous and many of the personality developers might tell you to avoid being nervous by acting like you are not nervous. Stuffs like 'don't play with your fingers', body language, actions etc can be considered as symptoms of nervousness. But, if you kill your nervousness itself, do you really need to act? Things may not work out your way, but you can always be a bit more serious than what you really are or you can always pretend like you are a better comedian than what you really are or pretend like you are a master in some subject or any method which can prove that you are not really what you show to this world. Sometimes, you may really need to change your attitude or body language to be a good performer. The world listens to the show-offs, not how that show is planned or executed. I mean, we are living at a point at which the entire credit of a successful film is taken or given to the hero of the movie, though the credits can be given to the creator or writer of that movie too. I may or may not change my attitude or body language to be something in my life that you need not bother, but I would recommend you to do it if it really makes you comfortable or unique.

Sorry for wasting your time. You are on your own now. Best of Luck.

The true inspirer!

I'm the most important part of my life for sure. I always have something to say when it comes to the most complex subject of my life :'me'. But, I am a victim of a lot of criticisms and analysis for which, I always had a response of an irregular smile( Just a reflex action to show that 'I am not entertained!'). Some people believe that  I am living a very miserable life of 'being pathetic and perfect'. At present, I am free to do a lot of things in my life. I am not independent, but I can decide a lot of things that my father wouldn't interfere. But, I wouldn't do all the things that I can do as I define my perimeters and boundaries of my life. I have always been questioned for the things I didn't do in my life, but none of those questions had provoked me to change what I really stand for.

In many occasions, I was put aside for the choices I made in my life. I never regretted for any of those occasions and I am well trained to accept that it is just the way I am. I do not know how many times I've heard of a question 'Who are you afraid of? No one will tell anything to anyone' . I smiled at them, but that is not enough. I have an answer for that question. 'I am not afraid of anyone, but I have a person to whom I need to justify and it is myself. If you can keep hiding it from him, I would do whatever you want to do in my life'. I am the best teacher of my life and I enjoy doing everything my way even if it may not sound perfect to others. I was criticized by my mother when she noticed that I am not engaged in any art or creativity, I was criticized by some of my friends as I never had a good socializing capabilities, I was criticized for not showing some courage to  make 'a cheap comment' on a girl. I always had some ideologies in my life that are defined according to the needs of the situation. I do what I feel like I am doing. But, I really enjoy getting criticized for something.

I have done a lot of things in my life by following other's path. But, I always knew that their paths were uncomfortable for me.I am pretty sure that many of those criticizers would understand the reason for being me, if they had an opportunity to have my brain and experiences of life. I do what I really wanted to do in my life and I really like to have a respectable, humble life. I may not have a good reason to look into your definitions as I have given enough thoughts on how my life should be. It is not difficult to convince me with your ideologies, but they are supposed have some reason other than 'This is what everybody does!'. Because, that is the most stupid reason I've ever heard in my life especially when it comes in ideologies and role-models of my life. It is just like 'I like Anna Hazare because the word 'Anna' sounds funny to me' which is quite irrelevant though. I see and analyze things and I do believe that the real and genuine part of life is not in howmany years I lived or the number of experiences or sufferings I happened to face, but  it is all about what you really find worthy of noting, which could change your life. You can always remain the same even if you live a life of 100 years. I choose not to be blind by shutting by eyes and it doesn't look like a mistake!!!

I value a lot of things in my life. Sometimes, those invaluable things of my life might look like a very simple thing in other's life. I always want to be unique in my life and whenever I face a criticism, which could never ring a bell in my mind, I am at an extreme point of self-respect in my life. No matter what other's believe, I really like being me and it is not going to change if I remain in my perimeter and boundaries. This is the true inspiration of my life. To be a respectable man, I am supposed to do something respectable!!!

Sincerely,

Raghu

The word "Internet" is not always a bad word!!

I'm a guy who used to sit a lot of time in-front of internet everyday. It almost made me think that I exist only in the internet. I behave different when I am in the internet. Some of my friends thought that I am chatting a lot and some others believed that I am learning a lot of things through internet. In reality, I was doing nothing, just sitting idle watching some TV series or movies. I think, many of us believe that our young generation is misguided by internet. But, I want to say one thing "'internet' is not always a bad word".

My life is severely influenced or affected by internet. There used to be a time when I used to blame myself for sitting infront of a computer for long hours. But, internet has changed a lot of things in my life for sure. I've been using blogger for the last 4 years and it is an achievement that I'm recognized or famous among people I do not know. It was always a good thing to know that there are people who like my thoughts and in a sense, I believe that I've improved a lot in my language just because of this blog. I've been thinking a lot about blogging though I write less. Internet was always an arena of knowledge and thought provoker in my life. Today, I use internet whenever I have some doubts about anything. To be frank, google made others believe that I am smarter than I look. If someone asks me a doubt in anything, all I used to do is to google it. I'm their big fan!!

Internet is a very vast thing and I feel quite natural to see the dark side of using internet.Misusing such a great opportunity is what I really meant. At some point, I believed that I've forgotten how to behave in the normal world just because of this internet addiction and I felt so sad about it. But, I believe that I've realized some facts about this addiction. This addiction happens when we make this internet more private and personal than it has to be. I like to meet new people, make friendship and share thoughts and internet is the best place to do it. I never got bored of using internet in my life. I always had something to do here and I consider it as a good thing.

What makes internet bad? We are making this too personal in a virtual world. Meeting people in internet is simpler now. I have a lot of friends whom I do not know and I do not believe that I am going to have an opportunity to chat with them. I really do not want them to get disappointed if they like to see my status updates and shared items in their home page. My social networking profiles are full of acquaintances or strangers and I have no problem in their presence except for a huge number in the friends list. Nothing in this internet is true or honest. Why should I be honest here? No one should care what I do here, because there is no reason to. I can comfortably type ":(" by laughing too hard, I can think of a programming code to type "hmm" in my chat box on every 20 seconds and do something else so as to make the person at the other end believe that I really listen to what they are saying, I can use google translator to make others believe that I know a lot of languages. Anything can be faked including our intentions and interests. I will not be entertained if I happened to meet a person with my photo as his profile photo just because I am cuter than him. It is not so difficult to find a 'completely open' photo album of cute girls (preferably strangers) so that you can download them and make your own fake profile. These things must feel weird to all of us. I think, these things made some of us believe that we have nothing believable in this internet.

I do not know whether I take this thing personal or not, but I would like to see internet as a place where I can meet anonymous people and share my knowledge. Actually, I have a weird idea in my mind today. What if I could make a online place where you could never use your name or photo in your profile. Being anonymous seems to be a good idea for me. "I do not know you and you do not know me. So, let us be friends." looks like a great idea that can avoid addictions as well. What would you do if there were no facebook or orkut or internet itself?

Sincerely,

Raghu

The theory of 'habitual thinker'!

I think, there is a way of thinking for everyone in this world .I do not think that no one other than me has exactly the same thoughts. Each one of us may have different solution for a single problem. In my life, I am supposed to see a lot of things from my surroundings and I am supposed to grasp a lot from the surroundings. But, even if someone else has to move in the exactly same path as mine, I am pretty sure that he will be different from me. I used to be a day dreamer in my life and I am a partial daydreamer right now. But, have you ever thought of 'how to think?'. If you have, I am pretty sure that it will be different from my thoughts. Because, no one is completely have the same thought and attitude. Everybody is unique and different in their own ways. In my personal opinion, 'their own ways' in the previous sentence may not fit well for all of us. Sometimes, I just follow what others are doing without giving a second thought. I know that I am supposed to think before taking a decision but, I failed to figure out the way I should have thought about it. I was unable to dig deeper than what I thought about  and in some subjects, I still remain the same.

Actually, is there a common way to think about a subject? I do not think so! I see a lot of things from my life and a few of them will be captured into my brain. There are different levels in knowing things. In the first level, we just see the thing and at that level, everybody would be in the same condition. In the second level, we will do some analysis in our mind and it determines the applicable wisdom in our life. Let's take an example, Albert Einstein found his famous equation E=MC2. . Some people thought of making it useful to meet the need of energy while some others' thought of making the 'atom bomb'. In reality, they both had the same information but they thought about two different usages of the same information. Actually, can I say that one of them is right and the other is wrong? Yes, I may. But, what's right clearly depends on which part I support. If I support the atom bomb, I will definitely say that the formula is meant to be used for making atom bombs. This is the most important part which made me convinced that "Everybody have the right to choose their 'rights' and 'wrongs'!" But, there is one more level in deep thoughts, what if I could consider both part of it in my mind? Definitely, I will be able to justify anything, even Osama!! But, I am a complete failure in that part. It can be because my justification and their justification are completely different.

I am a person who used to think a lot about me. An 'about me' page in my orkut profile was the first thing that motivated me to start a blog. But, I always used to think of what others should have thought about my acts and behaviors. Today, I cannot support it as 'I feel like I was an actor for my entire life'. The deepest thought is the thought you have when you pretend to be an outsider. In my experience, I have heard and seen a lot of fights and ragging cases between seniors and juniors of my college and some other colleges as well. Does it really make sense if I say that they were too idiotic? In an outsider's view, everything was idiotic (for some insiders also!). It is not an issue here, but the core part is the way I think and the way they think (I swear, I do not have an idea of what they were thinking, but at present I do not have a good reason to believe that they are not crazy). Everybody should have a justification for what they are doing and I am pretty sure that they would have some justification for what they did. The success of a meaningful thought is when you can think like an outsider (A thought from 'No man's land'!!). About myself, what I should have thought if I was someone else? Sometimes, it can make some sense, but it won't work all the time the same way you would expect.

Wisdom is a result of such thoughts in our lives. I had a lot of spare time in my life and I used to believe that the word 'bore' is meaningless to me as I never got bored of these thoughts. But, I can definitely say that it helps to take my decision and it helps to increase the confidence to justify my stands and that was the only thing I cared about in my life. I cannot advice that we should develop this habit of thinking in every single thing in our lives. Sometimes, we may need to take a random pick because it is an undisputed fact that no information in our mind is complete and unexpected things will keep on happening. But, I am aware that too much thoughts will make others call you a 'pessimist' . Thinking is not a life and don't let your life sink in the ocean of thoughts.

Sincerely

Raghu

An Indian Dream!!

I always used to consider myself as an analyzer in my life. Today, I realize that those were not really analysis but, criticisms. Am I not patriotic in this world? Why do I always take subjects which might depress or demotivate people? I've already thought about some serious social issues in India which do not require a good reference in any place("Attitude can change in a split of a second"). Media is the way through which people realize and understand the world. Today, it looks like they are determined to over-expose their news as a part of aggressive expansion of their own business. What are we doing? We are really good in blaming ourselves! I'm not here to criticize or demotivate or even to make a comment on what or why we are a little disappointed with the present condition of India, bu, I need to have a personal belief that I got a plan to create a better India. I do not know how far I'm going to express what I really need to express. At present, I'm trying to express thoughts about a better India.

All I'm thinking right now is a fact that we need to recheck the way we are looking at ourselves. What I've found in my life is a fact that I always used to have a reason to blame everything. I'm not always a positive thinker. I need to change the way I look into things. I need to categorize the information that I'm required to accept and that I need to ignore. I think, many of us are really good in blaming ourselves and enjoying the same. I live in Kerala and I used to crack a joke during many occasions, "Kerala is god's own country with devil's own people". Whenever I talk about some social issues or harthals or whatever, this joke is a usual one which I've accidentally copied from someone else. People like me are everywhere, waiting for their opportunity to blame ourselves and thus to make fun of ourselves. There is a perfect solution for such an insult. We need to stop providing opportunities for them to speak. We are not completely wrong, but we are accidentally doing something which results in a very negative effect. That's where we need to change.

How do we measure development of a nation? Financial terms? In my personal opinion, no one should analyze a country with its economy because it is fragile. We are developing since the stone age and still didn't qualify to gain the name 'developed nation' among the other nations. I think, we need to redefine the term 'development' here. Some people have already defined development  as a process of importing the civilizations of the foreign countries (who claims themselves 'developed'). Do we really have a unique face of our own? I still wonder why we consider ourselves 'under-developed'. Development doesn't mean that we should have highways like the west or we should have pubs and bars just as Americans or anything that the other countries possess. My idea of development is how far we are capable of withstanding difficult situations. India has already developed when we began to think that our nation is a representation of 'unity among diversities'. It can handle almost everything like it did before.

In this very conscious dream, I do not dream about big cities or big highways or even some better industrial units. I am thinking about making some sense. What if we could create some sense which no other country has made so far. Lets take the example of pollution. What if we could bring zero-emission vehicles rather than getting proud of owning a hayabusa at home? What if we could bring our destroyed forests back rather than creating ugly polluting concrete forests? What if we could bring  an end to all non-biodegradable wastes in the country? These are not completely difficult tasks, there are huge possibilities, which are essential for our survival(I watched '11th hour" today and these sentences are the results of its inspiration). We are well civilized and cultured. Indian civilization is well-renowned for its sense-making. We were the sense makers of the history. Our culture and its depth are immeasurable. The knowledge we had in  our past are still astonishing(may I call  it envy?) some of the foreign countries. The only change we need right now is the change in angle at which we are looking at ourselves. We have to regain this 'rich-knowledge' and get back to what we were.

A few days before, I happened to see a report on the the level of intelligence quotient. More than 30% of our population has above average IQ level. I noticed it in facebook and I commented on it like this "Intelligence is meaningless without a place to apply it!". The present condition of India is not that bad, but it could be better if these intelligent people's intelligence is utilized properly.  We are supposed to change something here and it feels like we are nearly at chaos just because of the same reason(intelligence)! People are guided and motivated in a very different way right now. Lets take the example of movies, why do we always get inspired of movies which resembles the foreign culture? I've seen people clapping hands and cheering when they hear the 'forbidden four letter word'(you know what that word is!) in a Malayalam film. I've seen some Malayalam movies which are purposefully copied some Hollywood movies. It looks like, we have lost our face on this earth. We have lost our uniqueness in the world. That is what we need to regain. Stop importing civilizations, create your own if you need to!

I do not want to claim that I'm completely right about what I've written here. I do not want to claim that this post is the only unique post that refers about Indian dream. But, what if I could make some people realize that they are supposed to dream? That is also an achievement!

"People says that it is too easy to be a bad man in this world, but I realized that it is not so tough to be a good man either. All we need to check is the outcome of what we did and the words 'good' and 'bad' doesn't really matter if we could make our inner-mind believe that it is 'good' or at least 'fair'!!"

Sincerely,

Raghu

Why should I lead a disciplined life?

I think, discipline involves some sort of sacrifices to everyone. From my early ages itself, I've been hearing a lot about discipline and still it continues. When I was doing my primary school, my school principal punished me by a pinch on my ear for using crackers( I do not know the exact word for it. I think, I can call it 'baby crackers' as it was so small) at school. I never stopped using crackers afterward and that punishment was a pure wastage of time. The disciplinary actions I've ever heard in my life were purely compulsions! I was afraid to use crackers again at my school, but I always had the tendency to use it until I leave the school. I've noticed a lot of people who are extremely attracted to well disciplined schools for their children. I still do not know how these disciplines are measured but, it doesn't make much sense to me.

Disciplines and disciplinary actions are mostly for building up of mannerism! I believe in one thing, these compulsions are not going to help me gain anything in my life. I never followed all the disciplinary actions I've learned at school. I've always found some tendency to get indisciplined when I was at school. But, some of them remained in me. So, what should I do? I have to destroy this tendency to get indisciplined. My grandfather was also like this, he always used to wake me up at 6 O'clock in the morning which I hated more than hell. Yesterday, I slept at 1O'clock and woke up at 8! But, one day I'm going to realize that waking up at 6 is making much better sense than sleepless late nights!! That is wisdom!!

Who are these discipline makers? Mostly, they are highly matured and experienced people who got some idea of the value of disciplined life! And I do respect them. But, no one can ever compel me to follow their rules and make me look like a disciplined man as I'm already disciplined in my own way! You can convince me to be like you by your wisdom but, never force to implement your level of discipline to my life. It can have a very negative after-effect!! If some disciplines are not making much sense in any part of my life, I am not going to accept it. Discipline should have some intention or aims. If it is good or fair, I might be able to accept if not, I will get back to what I was.

A few years before, my parents used to complain a lot about my addiction to internet, but I do not regret for this addiction. That is the way I am today. I'm not allowed to use mobile, laptop etc at my college. Does it make much sense? Mobiles or laptops are not always bad words. They can be misused but, they are not built for misusing. A security camera is used in a place where the security is under trouble and if there were no trouble, the invention of security cameras will be a waste of time and energy. So, my point is simple. If a rule for making us disciplined is not capable of destroying the 'tendency to get indisciplined', that action is purely non-sense! I lead a disciplined life because I'm not going to gain anything by an indisciplined life either!

"Life is great if you live the way you want to be, but it will be greater if you let others live the way they are!So, avoid unnecessary interferences..."

Raghu

My definition for the word 'achievement'!

I think, the real reason for the existence of advisers is a fact that everybody believes that they are right. As far as I know, the most difficult fact to accept in this world is the fact that "I'm not always right". But, there is room for a counter-attack. To be completely personal, I hate advising!! I don't like to advice as well. Everything is just facts and no one can completely categorize 'right' and 'wrong' as it depends on the people who analyze them. I've seen people who used to advice me to try for a job in bank and definitely, they work in banks. As far as they see and convince, a job in a bank is the most safest job of the world. There are risks but, they feel so honored to be part of those banks. And I decided to try but, the real intention was different. I would like to be a bank officer and I believed that it could help me to follow my desire as a part-time job.

What is an achievement? Earning money? Living life? Enjoying life? I do not live to enjoy my life...I do not live my life to survive just as everyone else who assumes the way I am! My definition of achievement seems to be different. In my view, the most ugliest invention of our human history is 'money'! It killed people, analyzed people and even demotivated many others. If I were rich, I could do almost everything even if it is irrelevant and useless. I can buy people with money, sell myself for money or even bury myself in money. But, being any of these will never reach to my definition of 'achievement'. I consider money as my last preference for achievement. The only good thing which a rich man can do is to exploit the man who likes money. I received an sms from my friend :" A funny fact : Poor man runs for his daily food while a rich man runs to digest his daily food". What does it mean? In life, running is inevitable and the only difference is their appearance during the run. A rich may have a track suit but, the poor may not have it. Both runs for life. Trouble is inevitable as it arises one after another just because we could never have a complete definition for 'satisfaction'. I really hate people who analyze achievement with money. Money is essential but, it is not the only requirement of my life and a world without money can be fairer than what I see today! I love money just because its been established centuries before I am born and most of the people claim that they own most of the things in this world by this 'money'. The application of 'Darwin's Theory'(Existence of the fittest) on money is always unfair. I can assure one thing, I will never cheat anyone for money, I will never abuse anyone just because they don't have money and I will never respect anyone just because they got money (I do respect Warren Buffet for his philanthropic attitude )! Then, why should I work for money? I work for money because I need some support from people around me for my own survival.

People used to self-praise themselves by many means to show how rich they are. "I earn 2,00,000 per month" or " I got a lot of Lamborghinis in my house" etc are some examples. I used to do the same before but, it was almost 15 years before (I'm 18 years old since 2007). I told some of my friends in play school that I have an elephant, a gorilla and a tiger at my home (late confessions!). I didn't have anything at my home except a dog! Then, why did I say it? Because, I want to create an impression among my friends about it. Even today, I can see the same tendency in many people including me. I felt jealous of people who says that they have a shirt of 5,000 Rs(even if it worth just 500) or they own a bike of 1,00,000. My father is using a pretty decent bike than I had and I survived some criticisms from my friends in my college. I'm honestly trying to avoid it. I got a philosophy which I always used to apply in many real-life situations. "I'm supposed to survive even if these were not invented!". I'm supposed to survive even if my father was poor. So, if I call these an achievement, I'm ready to try buying lottery tickets as a profession! I'm not going to die even if someone offers me a billion rupees for dying.

So, what exactly is an achievement? There is no correct definition for achievement as it depends on the people. Even the word 'achievement' does exist just because the others' mentality to analyze me. I don't mind what they think about me. May be, I would struggle hard in my life just because of this mentality but, I won't regret for what I do (Things which we call stupid may not stay stupid for eternity). The only difference which I am trying to make is to differentiate what I do with what I'm supposed to do. I'm ambitious, definitely ambitious. I dreamed of being a lot of things in my life. Everything changed by the course of time. In my childhood, I dreamed of being a bus driver (I used to watch closely how the driver drives a bus and this is not a joke), a cricket player, a singer, an engineer, a businessman, a writer, a philosopher and even the president of India. Now, some of these ambitions are a laughing stock for me (Especially, the engineer's part). I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get a little different profession from any of the above ambitions but, I always loved to do something easier for me. People used to call me 'lazy' sometimes but, I know that I'm not always lazy. I'm lazy when I do not like what I'm doing. I still do not know why I'm sitting here in front of my computer in this late night and typing all these but, am I really lazy? I really like to do something like this and I wish if I could use this determined mind in my profession. I can feel the definition of 'achievement' in it.

I watched a movie recently. Its name is "A beautiful mind". It is a master-piece of one of my favorite actors Russel Crowe. It was a life of an almost psychic nerd who is trying to find a 'completely new idea'. Even I dreamed of doing something like that and I honestly believe that I can achieve it if I could make my passion my profession.  As far as I know, I'm a small philosopher and I may not be able to start a shop by putting a board "Philosophies for sale". But, it may offer 'satisfaction' and 'happiness' for me. Rather than being a really bad engineer, I may enjoy being a meaningless philosopher. It may not make me rich, it may not help me to gain enough money to live but, there are things which I need beyond it. Whatever happens in the end, I call it 'my achievement' and no one else has got anything to do about it.

"I define my achievements and I do not have anything to do to make it look like your achievement as 'every achievement' is unique and different. Sometimes, even a mind which do not have an idea of a definite achievement seems to be an achievement."

Sincerely,

Raghu

When astrology defines your destiny...

Everybody is curious to know about the future! Social networking sites are fed up with applications for astrology and there are sites which can predict your time and day of your death! I do not know what they really mean by these sites. There are better businesses to be taken care about! I personally, hate astrology and that doesn’t mean that astrology is wrong. A year ago, I was really surprised by the three facts (damn true facts) of my life which is revealed by astrology (that too in a printed material). That single incident changed the way I look into astrologers! Really, they are dangerous! It made me feel that I’m not in control of myself and what is my role if the purpose of my life is pre-determined? What if they can dig out the hidden secrets in me? That is really dangerous because everybody is different from what they show in their life (A mask of what I am)!

I remember a real-life joke about the same subject. I and two of my close friends were roaming around in the town. We saw an astrologer with a parrot sitting in the footpath. One of my friends is an activist of the communist party and with a curious naughty intention; he went to the astrologer to know his future. Even he recorded what the astrologer was saying about him! I think, he never believed in any of the facts he heard but, he got so excited when he heard that he will get married at the age of 21 or 23! I think, that astrologer is just like an advertisement! That astrologer and advertisements are gripping on the most sentimental things in our lives! At last, the astrologer turned to me and asked “May I tell your future?” and I replied “No. I may get scared of my future.” I still do not know what made me say that but, it makes a lot of sense here! I know exactly what that astrologer was doing out there! He talks all the possible things which may happen in our lives and some of them may come true.

It feels like every human in this world is curious about their future. I do not know how many fictional stories are there in this world about the future of the world. The weirdest thing is that most of them are representations of world destruction! I think, world destruction is some sort of nightmare for the entire human beings and most of them are the result of our own inventions or the result of our activities! So ultimately, we believe that we are supposed to receive what we deserve by our activities! What is the point in believing astrologers if I stop doing what I’m supposed to do? I can think about suicide even if our astrologer predicts that I will survive 84 years on earth!

I’ve seen people who have left their life to fate. Whatever happens in their life is justified by the name of fate! I do not like that idea even if it is a truth. If I can’t change anything in my life, why should I have a brain? Robots can do better! I can dream of being the president of India and the others have the same right to dream the same! Unfortunately, the seat available is just one! No one should stop dreaming but remember that our president may also have the same zodiac sign as mine and the astrology report can also be the same!! In my view, life is just a hope that we will receive what we deserve and definition of the word ‘deserve’ depends on the people around you!

At the same time, there is a positive fact about astrology! When I’m disappointed or at chaos, an astrologer can easily motivate me by saying “Never mind, one day you are going to be the president of India”. Sometimes, it can be a bridge from death to life! Why should I care about whether it is right or wrong if it can do something good? How can I categorize such things? I don’t know but, I still believe in one thing “Astrologers cannot change my fate as I got a brain to define my destiny!”

Sincerely,

Raghu
